SPECIFIC EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SEMRUSH AU SEARCH AWARDS

These Specific Event Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are a legally binding agreement between you (an “Applicant” or a “Participant”) and SEMrush as described in the General Event Terms and Conditions, adopted herein by reference.

Please, make sure you fully understand the contents of this Agreement. If you have any doubts about any of your rights and obligations resulting from your acceptance of this Agreement, please, consult us or obtain legal support.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY PROVISION OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOU MAY NEITHER CONTINUE WITH THE APPLICATION PROCESS NOR FURTHER PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.

AWARDS PROGRAM AND PARTICIPATION

1.1. SEMrush AU Search Awards celebrate the achievements of online marketing professionals in Australia.

1.2. SEMrush AU Search Awards have the following list of categories:

4. Best SEO Campaign
5. Best Local Campaign

7. Best Content Marketing Campaign

1.3. The Awards participation entries timeline as follows:

Entry Deadline – Friday 6th September 2019

Entry Extension Deadline – Friday 20th September 2019

Judging Session – Tuesday 8th October 2019

Shortlist Announced – Wednesday 9th October 2019

Award Ceremony – Tuesday 12th November 2019

1.4. Participation entries are welcome from organizations, agencies and individuals based in Australia as well as from those based elsewhere but who wish to submit participation entries relating to work they have conducted in the Australian market.

1.5. The participation entries word limit is 1000 words.

1.6. For submission, the Applicant should download the entry form via the link https://www.semrushawards.com.au/download-entry, complete it and upload via the link https://www.semrushawards.com.au/entry-form.

1.7. The submission to the SEMrush AU Search Awards is provided on a paid basis. After uploading the entry, the Applicant will be transferred to the webpage of Don’t Panic Projects Ltd for further payment.

1.8. Each entry will be charged an administration fee of $175 AUD (+ VAT if applicable) per entry which must be paid when submitting your entry or entries. Entries submitted after the first closing date of 6 September 2019 will be charged a late submission fee. The cost per entry after 6 September and up until 20 September 2019 will be $350 AUD (+ VAT if applicable). If you are based in the UK you will be charged VAT.

1.9. All completed and returned entries will be acknowledged online at the time of submission. If you do not see this confirmation message please contact Sian Clifford on +44 (0)1706 828855 or email s.clifford@semrush.com to confirm receipt of your entry.

1.10. The organisers do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of any entry.

1.11. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into or feedback given regarding the selection of short-listed nominations or winners.

1.12. We reserve the right to shorten entry titles for the purpose of the awards brochure and winners trophies.

1.13. Winning case studies may be used in post-event materials to promote best practice or as part of future marketing and promotion for the awards. We will not publish any part of your entry without first seeking approval. Entrants have the right to mark any information or sensitive parts of their entry as ‘not for publication’. This will be respected by the organisers and their media partners.

1.14. SEMrush reserves the right to extend the Entry Extension Deadline , amend categories or not award categories should the standard of entries received not reach the required standard.

1.15. SEMrush Privacy Policy is available at www.semrush.com/company/legal/privacy-policy. Your interactions with and processing of the data by co-organizer Don’t Panic Projects Ltd are governed by the relevant terms and privacy policy of Don’t Panic Projects Ltd.

2. EVENT PROGRAM AND PARTICIPATION

2.1. SEMrush AU Search Awards Gala Night will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 (“Event Date”) at Sydney Opera House, Australia.

2.2. Approximate running order:

18.30 – Drinks Reception

19:15 – Welcome Speeches

19.30 – Dinner

21.30 – Awards

00:00 – Close

2.3. Tickets are being sold by Don’t Panic Projects Ltd and available via the link: https://dontpanicprojects.com/dpevents/semrush-au-search-awards-2019/

2.4. Visitors tickets costs are as follows:

Early Bird (booked before 25 October 2019)

Individual Ticket — $425 (+ VAT if applicable)

Table of Ten Ticket — $3800 (+ VAT if applicable)

Standard (booked from 26 October 2019)

Individual Ticket — $525 (+ VAT if applicable)

Table of Ten Ticket — $4800 (+ VAT if applicable)

3. CANCELLATION PROCEDURE

3.1. The Participant has the right to cancel the Participation Agreement by sending an email request to semrushawards@semrush.com.

3.2. Ticket refunds can be made if the tickets are cancelled 28 days prior to the Event Date (“Timely Notice”). Otherwise, the refund cannot be made.

3.3. In case of Timely Notice, the refund sum will be returned within 30 working days.

3.4. Participation entry refunds cannot be made.

4. JUDGES CODE OF CONDUCT

4.1. SEMrush AU Search Awards’ judges confirm that they will adhere to the following code of conduct:

a. Accepting that in the interest of transparency, judges are ineligible to enter the Awards competition they are judging.

b. Agreeing not to judge ‘competing awards’ whilst on the SEMrush AU Search Awards judging panel.

c. Dedicating sufficient time to fairly read, judge and score the entries.

d. Securely deleting all judging materials and marks immediately after the judging period or give materials to the orgineser’s team who will manage this.

e. Declaring any conflict of interest and accepting to be exempted from judging such entries.

f. Not allowing personal relationships or experiences to influence judging marks or decisions.

g. Understanding all judging discussions are confidential and will not be shared or discussed with anyone outside of the judging panel ahead of the ceremony.

h. Not sharing confidential material, judging papers or details of entries with anyone.

i. Not notifying anyone that they have won or that they are shortlisted ahead of the official announcements.

j. Not giving any feedback to entrants as to why they have not won or were not shortlisted – all requests for feedback must be directed to SEMrush or the awards organisers.

k. Not attempting to solicit business or approach awards entrants for any other purpose than to discuss the SEMrush AU Search Awards.

5. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

5.1. This Agreement is in the English language, which prevails over any translations of it to other languages, made by us and provided to you for your convenience, as applicable. You also agree to have all communications with us in English and local language of the Event venue.

5.2. Unless described herein, capitalized terms have the meaning stated in the General Event Terms and Conditions.
